Mieke Smith is the mom behind the dotcom. She spent 14 years working in advertising and marketing in New York City launching, growing and promoting brands like AT&T, DIRECTV, Foot Locker and Bank of America across every platform. This led her to the world of web design and development as a second career. Mieke completed General Assembly’s Front End Web Development and Visual Design courses and quickly put her acquired skills to work building websites for local entrepreneurs eager to launch or reinvigorate their businesses. She also did pro-bono design work for the Hoboken chapter of FLAG, helping to raise over $250,000 to feed front line workers via local restaurants.

When Mieke isn’t designing and building websites, she’s a busy mom to daughter Gemma and fur-child Hogan. Mieke and her family, including husband Alex, reside just outside of New York City.
