Raakhee Mirchandani
Raakhee Mirchandani is a best-selling author of two children’s books and a frequent contributor to various publications like the todayshow.com and Elle Magazine. Raakhee needed a branded website to promote her work and to share updates and information.
Create an authentic and personalized branded website to promote Raakhee’s books and podcast while housing information on upcoming events and author visits.
Raakhee also wanted an archive of all her past articles to serve as a portfolio and resource.
Using Raakhee’s Indian heritage as inspiration, I created a Henna design to serve as the main graphic device. It appears subtly throughout the site and helps to add depth and movement to the backgrounds. I chose a warm palette in shades of brown…a nod to Raakhee’s pride as a Brown Mom (and to her podcast of the same name).
Page layouts and navigation are simple and straightforward, allowing the content to shine. Raakhee now has a branded website to promote and share her work.

Raakhee needed a flyer and bookmark for the launch of her second book Hair Twins so I created both in the same look and feel as her website for added brand consistency.
